Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA)

The Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA) is a nonprofit organization devoted to helping people with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and their families through education, research, and public advocacy. ADDA is especially focused on the needs of adults, young adults, and families with ADD. The organization specializes in workplace, higher education, relationship, and parenting issues. ADDA supports training, conferences, and research into ADD's causes and treatment. Through its growing family of independent support groups, the ADDA Adult Support Group Network, the organization is working to help people discover how to cope with the challenges of ADD, while celebrating and leveraging its many positive aspects.

Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorders (CHADD)

Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder (CHADD) is a nonprofit organization that provides information and support to families of children and adults with attention deficit disorders (ADD, AD/HD). Their website has links to local programs. CHADD's publications include fact sheets, books, and a quarterly magazine. CHADD maintains chapters across the country and sponsors an international conference each year.

GreatSchools.net provides free web-based information, resources, publications and support to parents of children with learning differences and to young people themselves.  It has incorporated the many resources from Schwab Learning into its site.

JKL Communications

JKL Communications publishes books and videos on legal topics. The The JKL Disability Division produces books and videos on learning disabilities (LD), and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). JKL Communications also offers seminars on learning disabilities, and ADHD legal, educational, and employment issues.

Learning Disabilities Association of America (LDA)

The Learning Disabilities Association of America (LDA) is a membership organization for professionals, adults with learning disabilities, and parents of children with learning disabilities.

National Center for Learning Disabilities, Inc. (NCLD)

The National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD) aims to increase opportunities for all individuals with learning disabilities (LD) to achieve their potential, and to provide solutions to help them participate fully in society.
