Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD)

The Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities is a coalition of approximately 100 national disability organizations working together to advocate for national public policy that ensures the self determination, independence, empowerment, integration and inclusion of children and adults with disabilities in all aspects of society.

Infantile Scoliosis Outreach Program (ISOP)

ISOP connects families of children with progressive infantile scoliosis to resources and information that can help them make the best choices possible in the care of their children. The ISOP site contains information on infantile scoliosis, treatment, and research pertinent to progressive infantile scoliosis. ISOP also hosts the CAST online support group, where parents come together to share information and experiences. ISOP's Medical and Family Outreach Programs, and their Early Treatment Program (ETP) Seminars, work to increase awareness among the medical community and general public.

Institute on Community Integration (ICI)

The Institute on Community Integration (ICI) is a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities which is committed to improving the quality and community orientation of professional services and social supports available to individuals with disabilities and their families. Its mission is carried out through a program of interdisciplinary pre-service and in-service training, model programs and technical consultation activities, applied research, and information dissemination in four program areas: early childhood and intervention services; school age services; transition services; and adult services & community living. ICI publishes numerous curricula, newsletters, resource guides, technical reports, and brochures as well as extensive web-based resources.

Kennedy Krieger Institute

Kennedy Krieger Institute is an internationally recognized facility dedicated to improving the lives of children and adolescents with pediatric developmental disabilities through patient care, special education, research, and professional training. Kennedy Krieger’s clinical programs offer an interdisciplinary approach in treatment tailored to the individual needs of each child. Services include over 40 outpatient clinics; neurobehavioral, rehabilitation, and pediatric feeding disorders inpatient units; plus several home and community programs providing services to assist families.

Kids As Self Advocates (KASA)

Kids As Self Advocates (KASA), a project of Family Voices, is a national, grassroots network created by youth with disabilities for youth, to educate society about issues concerning youth with a wide spectrum of disabilities and special healthcare needs. Some issues include living with special health care needs, health care transition issues, education, employment, and many more. KASA believes in supporting self-determination, creating support networks, and proactive advocacy for all youth with disabilities in our society. KASA's website contains resources, current events, and hosts a forum for youths.

Mobility International USA (MIUSA)

MIUSA provides information and technical assistance for the inclusion of people with disabilities in international exchange and development programs. MIUSA works in four main areas to provide programs and services including - National Clearinghouse on Disability & Exchange (NCDE); International Development & Disability; International Exchange Programs; Women, Disability and Development.

National Association of the Deaf (NAD)

National Association of the Deaf (NAD) is the nation's oldest and largest non-profit organization safeguarding the accessibility and civil rights of 28 million deaf and hard of hearing Americans across a broad range of areas including education, employment, health care, and telecommunications. Primary areas of focus include grassroots advocacy and empowerment, policy development and research, legal assistance, captioned media, information and publications, and youth leadership. The mission is to provide all persons who are deaf or hard of hearing awareness of and equal access to communication and learning through the use of captioned educational media and supportive collateral materials. National Federation of the Blind (NFB)

The National Federation of the Blind (NFB) maintains information about Braille resources and tracks legislation affecting individuals who are blind. NFB represents people who are blind through advocacy and representation in discrimination cases. NFB products include books, articles, films and videocassettes, a monthly magazine, and a quarterly magazine.

National Mental Health Association (NMHA)

The National Mental Health Association (NMHA) is a citizen volunteer advocacy organization dedicated to addressing all aspects of mental health and mental illnesses. It strives to be a force for social change through advocacy, prevention, information and referral, and public education.

Pathways Awareness Foundation (PAF)

The Pathways Awareness Foundation (PAF) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to education for and about children with movement difficulties, to education and empowering parents, to advocate the extreme importance of early intervention and the significance of the inclusion of children with physical challenges into our community schools. PAF believes that through early detection, intervention and increased public awareness, children with physical challenges can look forward to a brighter future. PAF assists families who have concerns about their children's movement abilities. Educating parents and professionals about children's movement patterns during infancy so that the child can receive the care that he or she needs in order to achieve optimum functional potential. PAF provides information and services pertaining to cerebral palsy, neuro-disorders, early detection, early intervention and inclusion.
