| IDEA’s Technical
Assistance and Dissemination program (TA&D) provides technical
assistance and information through such mechanisms as institutes, Regional
Resource Centers, clearinghouses, and programs that support states and
local entities in building capacity to improve early intervention, education,
and transitional services and results for children with disabilities and
their families. This program area also funds projects that address systemic-change
goals and priorities.
Funding of IDEA's TA&D grants is
delegated to the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), at the U.S.
Department of Education. This NICHCY Web page will connect you to descriptions
of projects that received Fiscal Year 2004 funds from OSEP under IDEA's
Technical
Assistance and Dissemination program.
These grants appear in Volume 3 of Discretionary Projects Supported
by the Office of Special Education Programs under the Individuals with
Disabilities Education Act, Fiscal Year 2004: Technical Assistance, Dissemination,
Parent Information, and State Improvement. (Note: Volume 3 also includes
projects funded under the Parent Information
and State Improvement program areas, which are
described online separately.) Copies of Volume 3 are available from NICHCY
while supplies last. We are also pleased to make this information available
to you online.
We’ve grouped the projects funded under the Technical Assistance
and Dissemination program within the competitions under which they
were funded. Within each competition, projects are arranged in order from
the earliest to the most recent.
